EPIC aims to improve the use of technology in health and social care, providing sector specific business support, leading academic expertise, events, and a Challenge Fund for developing new products and services, with grants from £5,000 up to £100,000.

EPIC is a collaborative project partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund with additional financial support from the South West Academic Health Science Network. University of Plymouth, Creative England and partners aim to improve the use of eHealth in Cornwall.
We aim to improve the use of technology in both health and social care hoping:
> to improve health and wellbeing of people in Cornwall
> and improve the Cornish economy in this sector.
EPIC offers businesses:
> Access to specialised business support expertise from the digital and eHealth sector
> Access to experts in research areas critical for development of eHealth products and services
> Access to grant funding through the £600,000 EPIC Challenge Fund
The EPIC project started in May 2017 for three years.

> Human computer interaction and app development
> Commissioning and sustainability
