As a company dedicated to delivering high-quality software, Test Engineers fulfill a critical role working at all levels as a core part of our software teams. Bluefruit Software is currently in a stage of rapid growth due to increasing client demand and we are looking for Test Engineers to immediately join our team of 50 working in our Cornwall office. We are looking for people at all levels to apply for this role and it’s a great chance to join our software team even if you don’t have any previous software or coding experience.
Test Engineers work directly with our Software Engineers providing a continuous and effective testing service. This includes report writing, defect reporting and rapid, effective feedback to the team
For the Test Engineer role we are looking for people who are:
– Keen problem-solvers
– Curious and excited about continuous learning and development
– Able to work independently with a high level of initiative and good at time management
– Interested in science, electronics or mechanical engineering (but no previous experience or formal academic qualifications required)
– A passion for discovering how things work
– An interest in learning about software development and agile practices
– Happy to work to a very high standard and appreciate the value of quality
– Well organised and able to deliver work that is clear and easy to read
– Excited to work as part of a high-performing team
– Able to write reports
