Buzz are delighted to have received the award for Software of the Year at the South West Digital Awards held at Plymouth School of Creative Arts on 27 September 2018.
The award recognises our development work on MyPreOp for fellow Cornwall-based company Ultramed. MyPreOp is on online preoperative assessment tool that can be completed by a patient remotely or onsite following an outpatient visit. It delivers time and cost savings for the NHS and allows for staff time to be better utilised. When Ultramed approached us to work with them, we felt this was a perfect fit for Buzz and we knew that together we could create an innovative and robust platform. We instantly felt an affinity with their vision and were excited by the challenge to bring it to fruition
For the creation of the software, Paul Axten Technical Director took the lead and worked together with our senior programmers Keith Raven and Nick Jackson. The project took an Agile approach to development with regular iterations being made available to the client for review and together we devised improvements to enhance the usability of the product.
This year has been a particularly busy one for Buzz with the team successfully delivering a range of high profile projects and the future is looking bright as we continue work in the e-health sector, attracting new and exciting clients.
